Foundation Stage

At Polehampton, we see schooling as a train; Foundation Stage is the engine! 

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Profile and both our 'Blue' Classes (Bluebells and Blueberries!) work together for much of the day- exploring!  The Blue Class provision is set up to enable the children to have free flow play across the classroom; using both the indoors and outdoors. 

It's difficult to see who is who from the adults in Foundation Stage - they're most often found on the floor playing with the children; facilitating learning, through play, and developing critical skills.
